Location

• We are 1 hr 45 mins north of Inverness in the county of Sutherland.
• From Inverness take A9 towards Wick.
• Turn off A9 at Helmsdale and take A897 towards Melvich
• Follow the River Helmsdale for 14 miles.  Borrobol is on the left with a sign post at the end of the road.
• Turn into Borrobol, cross the bridge, go through the railway gates and past the Lodge on your left.
• Take the second turning on the left up a track, signposted to The Gardener’s House and Crocdhu Cottage.
• You will see the Gardener’s House as you reach the top of the hill and Crocdhu beyond it.
